Steve Neimeier

Steve Niemeier, is a 1979 graduate of Baylor University where he earned a Bachelor of Business Administration.    Steve obtained his CPA certification in 1981 and his Certified Financial Planner certificate in 2003. Steve joined Brockway, Gersbach, Franklin & Niemeier in 1985.   Steve became the Audit Partner in 1992.

As President of BGFN since 1995, the firm has committed its resources to serving the financial needs of the Temple/Belton Market.  Steve oversees the quality control of the firm practice and serves as the shareholder in charge of the audit practice. Having submitted the practice to its independent quality control review, the firm's commitment to quality has been certified by an independent accounting firm once every three years since 1991.

While Steve’s experience is diverse, construction is his primary industry focus.  Given a commitment to privately held business. Steve’s secondary emphasis is in wealth accumulation, retention and transfer.  Steve is a member of the Quality Control Center for Employee Benefit Plans and Governmental Audits. Steve completed comprehensive training and is certified in International Financial Reporting Standards.

 Steve community involvement includes serving as Trustee for Temple College and is a past Chairman of the Board of Trustees. Steve is the President of the Heart of Texas Chapter of the CFMA.  As a past Chairman of the Temple Chamber of Commerce, past President and Treasurer of the Central Texas United Way, past Treasurer of the Temple Civic Theatre and various PTOs, Steve’s commitment to his community is exemplified through service. His commitment to the firm is also one of service.

 Denice Allison, CCIFP

 Denice is the senior manager of cost accounting for EBCO General Contractor, LTD.  She has thirteen years of  construction accounting
 experience and has been with EBCO for the last eight years.  Denice has a Bachelor’s  degree from the University of North Texas and is currently
 working on obtaining her CPA license.  She has been  involved in CFMA since 2004 and on the board of directors in various roles since 2014. 
 Denice is on the board of  directors for the Belton 4-H/FFA Booster club and currently serves as treasurer.  She is also on the Leadership Belton
 Committee for the Belton Chamber of Commerce.  When not at work, Denice spends most of her time at athletic, FFA and school events with her
 boys.

Christine Graham Wells, CPA

Christine Graham is a 2008 graduate of Texas A&M University where she earned a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Master of Science in accounting.  Christine began working for PWC, LLP in Dallas where she worked in private industries clients in manufacturing.  She received her CPA license in 2009.  

Christine is now Audit Manager for Brockway, Gersbach, Franklin & Niemeier, PC. and has worked for BGFN for over 5 years.  She services a wide variety of clients including several construction companies.  Christine serves as a director on the CFMA board as well as Reservations Chair, coordinating all meetings and reservations.  Christine lives in Temple with her fiancé, dog and cat. Christine enjoys Crossfitting and sharing a glass of wine with friends.

Sandy Killough

In May of 1998 I came to work for Cloud Construction Co., Inc. as their Controller.  Cloud Construction is a CM for commercial projects in the Central Texas area and have built numerous schools, churches, auto dealerships and other commercial projects.  Prior to that I worked for 6 months in tax preparation with Matthews, Ludwick & Follander and 11 years with Chlapek Business & Tax Service preparing personal, small business and farm returns as well as payroll reports, write-up and financial reporting.  I have also worked in accounting with the automotive dealership industry and accounting/programming in  the AM/FM Broadcasting and Travel Industry.






Treasurer

Janna S. Janes, CPA, CCIFP

Janna has served as president of the HOT Chapter since its inception in June 2014.  Janna is a graduate of Belton High School, the University of Texas at San Antonio and Texas A&M.  She is also a CFMA Scholarship recipient.  Janna earned obtained her CPA license in 2002 and her CCIFP designation in 2007.  She has served as Controller of Matous Construction, Ltd., for the past ten years in Belton.  Janna lives in the Moffat Area with her husband Scott and their six children.

Jaclyn Ruggiero

Jackie is the senior accountant for Emerson Construction Company in Temple.  She moved from CT to TX in 2012 and has been at Emerson ever since. Jackie has a bachelor’s degree from the Western New England University and a master’s Degree from Utica College.

Her and her husband live in Belton with their 3-year-old daughter, who keeps her very busy.
