This course also uses as a foundation, the book, Seven Habits of Highly Effective People, to delve into a number of issues that will enhance your skills in dealing with people both personally and professionally.

Stuart Binstock has more than 25 years of experience as a senior executive of nonprofit organizations.  Binstock has been a CEO, Executive Director of the educational arm and the head of government affairs for a variety of trade and member  associations, all in the construction industry.  He has extensive experience with management issues, including strategic planning, professional staff recruitment, government affairs, educational programming and delivery, financial management, membership development, non-dues revenue growth, program development, and process improvements.

Binstock has had considerable success growing programs, membership and revenue for associations.  As a CEO, he increased chapters by 40% by emphasizing the organization’s value proposition, increasing programs and services, and delivering presentations to audiences around the country.  In difficult economic times, he increased revenue and substantially increased reserves by increasing non-dues revenue programs and through careful management of the association’s expenses.

His experience in the educational field is vast and deep.  At NECA, he managed a multi-million dollar educational program.  In that capacity, he increased the educational offerings by 100%. 

He increased the delivery of programs by moving to webinars and online courses.
